Field trips are a great way to meet other members, improve your identification skills, learn collection processes, familiarise yourself with grassy ecosystems and have a little time to socialise as well.

Workshops

The best way to improve your grass identification skills is to attend a workshop. ID workshops are generally scheduled for spring, and are held at the Urrbrae Wetlands. These courses are presented by a grass expert, and they are advertised through the group’s newsletter.

Forums

Issues of topical interest are dealt with by a panel of experts in full or half day presentations. Members are advised through the newsletter and by direct mail.

Members who have provided the Secretary with their email addresses will also be advised by email of coming events.
